MailChimp and your data
We send the newsletter with MailChimp. The IT systems and the MailChimp company are located in the USA. By the use of MailChimp a transmission of your personal data is given.
The Rocket Science Group, LLC (which operates MailChimp ) is certified according to the requirements of Privacy Shield. This means that the prerequisites are in place for data protection-compliant handling of your data.
We have signed a Data Processing Addendum with MailChimp. The addendum regulates the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the processing of personal data.
If you open the given link in the respective newsletter for the correct representation in your browser, you will end up on a web page of MailChimp. Among other things, Google Analytics is used there. We cannot disable this and also have no access to the evaluations. You can use standard measures (e.g. browser plug-ins) to prevent tracking by Google Analytics and other methods.
With MailChimp we can see who opened the newsletter and which link in the newsletter was clicked by whom and how often.
