Moulding knives, also called molder knives, shaper knives, or profile knives, are woodworking tools typically used in conjunction with moulders, shapers, or other wood moulding machines to create specific profiles or designs on wood pieces. Shaper knives are made of high-speed steel (HSS) or tungsten carbide and have many profiles and sizes for different moulding applications.
